HI 👋🏻👋🏻 I’m Erica- the florist behind Bloom Brats Botanical.
Despite my bright hair and loud personality, I’d rather be BTS creating flower magic and botanical art instead of in front of a camera 🌸
When I was a teenager I discovered foraging. It was like a giant I spy for me. I followed that curiosity to college and got a degree in Plant & Fungal Biology. I floated around careers between horticulture, science, and design jobs for a few years.
Once I unexpectedly found myself in the world of flowers (shout out to COVID- probably wouldn’t have landed here if the world hadn’t shut down as I graduated college), I knew I had found the perfect overlap of all of my favorite things. I couldn’t shake the idea of shaping my world around flowers 🤷♀️🌸
I am super type A- but I’ve got sprinkles of “artist” throughout my personality- so there is still a nice thin layer of organized chaos 😏
Since Bloom Brats started- I’ve been lucky to design for so many wonderful people. It’s so exciting to take a peak into your world, see what excites you, and curate a look around it.
My favorite thing about working in a creative industry is that boundaries can always be pushed. Ideas can always be revamped. Inspiration can be found everywhere. Skills can always improve. It’s a never ending cycle of learning, growing, and creating ✨🌱
