THIS IS WHO I AM. ❤️
If you don’t know anything else about me, know this:
I believe life is one humongous experience.
And somewhere along the way, I made it my personal mission to make that experience a little better for every soul I have the privilege of touching.
This isn’t just what I do for a living.
It’s who I am.
This morning, while making my husband’s lunch, I realized just how deeply that philosophy shows up in the smallest corners of my life.
I don’t want to just throw something in a bag for him to eat. I want him to open his lunch and have a tiny moment in the middle of his day that says:
Somebody thought about me.
So yes, there’s his favorite lunch meat and a good sandwich. But the pickles are sliced and laid on a paper towel first so they don’t make the bread soggy. The condiments are tucked between the meat and lettuce instead of against the bread. The sandwich gets wrapped in foil, and a block of ice keeps everything chilled.
There’s fruit. Something sweet. Chips for later. A sparkling water.
And then there’s what I affectionately think of as his little safety kit: neatly folded napkins, a sanitizing wipe, a disposable mini toothbrush with toothpaste, floss, Aleve, electrolytes, and a breath mint.
Is it extravagant?
Not at all.
It’s intentional.
And that’s the part that matters to me.
I want him to pause when he opens that lunch and discover what I tucked inside that day. I want there to be a little piece of home, care and love waiting for him in the middle of whatever his day brings.
Because an experience doesn’t have to be grand to be meaningful.
Sometimes an experience is simply realizing that someone paid attention.
They remembered what you liked.
They anticipated something you might need.
They thought about the details you probably never would have asked for.
And they cared enough to make something ordinary feel just a little more special.
That is where the magic lives.
And as I stood there making that sandwich this morning, it occurred to me:
This is exactly how I approach events.
At Mehraki, we sit down and listen to your vision. We listen for what you say, and sometimes even what you don’t. We learn what matters to you. We pay attention to the little details.
Then we let it marinate for a minute.
And that’s when the ideas start flowing.
How can we elevate it?
How can we personalize it?
What can we add that they aren’t expecting?
What will make someone stop, smile, laugh, gasp, connect or simply feel cared for?
That philosophy is at the heart of The Mehraki Approach™. We don’t begin with decorations.
We begin with people.
Because whether I’m packing one lunch for the man I love or creating an experience for 500 people, my question is essentially the same:
How can I make someone’s experience better because I was a part of it?
That is what brings me joy.
One sandwich.
One celebration.
One wedding.
One unexpected detail.
One unforgettable moment at a time.
If I can leave this world having made people feel a little more seen, a little more celebrated and a little more loved…
I’d say that was one humongous experience well lived. ❤️
