When you look closely you can see boards and spreads from all across our page! We have been officially partnered with Annalise since 2024, but have worked together for longer, and she has never disappointed in creating the most beautiful charcuterie 🧀🌸🍯

We asked Annalise about her charcuterie essentials, and she told us how to make the ‘perfect bite’:

“Start with a cracker or slice of baguette, add some honey or jam spread (it’s the glue), choose a piece of cheese, followed by slice of meat (or a berry for our vegetarian friends) and top with a sprig of rosemary or thyme. Mix and match, find your favorite flavor combos, and share with friends!” Sounds delicious! 😋

Inspiration from the picnic motherland 🇫🇷🥖🍇

Last month for my (Hannah) anniversary, my husband and I went to France for the first time and LOVED it, of course. I debated sharing this here because it feels like just a personal update, but it also feels so integral to the heart of the business to share where inspiration is coming from.

Though it was still technically winter, it didn’t stop the picnic capital of the world from showing off its beautiful hospitality. The lovely people, the commitment to art, and respect for the land is so evident. Found myself thinking “wow what a great place for a picnic party” around every corner!

Coming back with more excitement to bring these moments of savoring good company and good food to Seattle!! ✨

If you’ve ever wondered “how do people do those fancy looking tables?” Start here!

These three elements of tablescape design will turn your “hmmm… something is missing” into “wow!”

It’s easier than you think… most of this you can do with things you already have, or rent some pieces that will bring the special occasion to life! 🤩

🌾 1. Texture
Start to add visual interest to your table by playing with different textures. Do you have sleek, smooth glassware, and an organic cotton napkin? What about a wooden texture with modern gold accent?

🕯️2. Height
You likely already have a good start with plates and glassware, but amp up the variety in height with candles and flowers! This will add a dynamic look to your table — just make sure it’s not blocking conversation too much when guests are seated.

🎨 3. Color
If you have a color scheme in mind, don’t be afraid to go all-out on your table! This is a great place to set the tone. A table is a great place to go all-out with color (even if it doesn’t necessarily “go” with your other decor) because it’s usually standing alone, making for a great canvas to communicate the theme.
