Dean Murray from Dallas OR will be back again this year.
Dean started as a chef, which got him into Ice Carving and Garde Manger. Which got him to Ice Alaska as a championship Ice Carver.
I invited him to carve pumpins, and now he runs a huge Pumpkin event every year, As well as winning those TV Chef challenges, and carving at the WH.
Dean can carve about anything, winning awards in snow, ice, sand, pumpkins and cheese! And all of these creations tell a story. Often, his stories are from a famous song, last year's Seaside piece was "Crazy Train" from Ozzy Osborne.
Dean has recently got ino Slumped glass creations, which you can check out at the merch tent.

Still have a few vendor spots available for this years Seaside SandFest, (Sept 17-20). Our 5th year, event gets about 5K coming to see the WOW Sculptures.
Location is right next to the Prom wall, on the beach in front of the Broadway Turnaround.
This is also the same weekend as the Seaside Car Show.

Craig Mutch will be coming back to Seaside SandFest this year.
Canadian by birth, international artist by experience. Craig worked as a photographer and illustrator, before going out on his own, doing sand sculpture, snow sculpture, pumpkin and wood carving, body painting, found object sculpture, and just a general artist view on the world.
So glad to have Craig joining us in Seaside this year!

We are blessed with some amazing sculptors that will come to Seaside. One comes from Wyoming!
Yep, there's sand in Wyoming, and she carves it.
This will be Catherine Morris' 3rd visit to Seaside. Catherine is a educator for the blind, (and the only person I know that can read Braille upside down!) when she's not playing in the sand.

We bring in a lot of sculptors for this event, and that means we have to put them up somewhere. Luckily, we have some great Hotel Sponsors that give us a room of two for our visiting sculptors.

The Ocean Front Seaside Hotel has helped us out since we had the event at 1st Ave. Fantastic Rooms, right close to the event. And the staff is always there to help out.
