💛 Thank you for an incredible day at Vanderwende Acres 💛
We were truly blown away by the turnout at today’s Hippity Hoppity event. Seeing so many families out on the farm meant so much to us, and we hope many of you were able to enjoy a special day together 🐰🌸
We also want to take a moment to acknowledge something important.
Due to the wind, the helicopter had to fly higher than we originally planned, which made the egg drop less spread out than expected. Combined with the size of the crowd, we know that some children, especially younger ones, were not able to collect eggs, and we understand how disappointing that can be.
To help create a fun experience for everyone, our team also placed eggs on the ground ahead of the drop, and we worked to offer a variety of free activities throughout the day, including pony rides, crafts, sack races, bounce house, face painting, and time to meet the Easter Bunny and take photos. We truly hoped these moments would add to the overall experience for all families.
That was never our intention. This event was created to be a fun and memorable experience for families, and we truly regret that it did not feel that way for everyone.
We do plan to bring this event back next year, and we will absolutely be implementing changes and reorganizing it so that it is a great experience for all family members, especially the littlest ones 💛
We are taking this feedback seriously and will use it to make future events even better for all who attend.
