“If at first you don’t succeed, FIX your ponytail and try again”.
I needed that little read yesterday. It reminded me that you don’t always get it right the first time around. And that there’s still beauty in the imperfections.
I love what this seating sign ‘could have been’, but I also know building the sign stand portion was a fail on my behalf — I used the hair dryer too long on portions of the PVC to bend it.
BUT I also know I went out of my comfort zone to do something I’m not familiar with. That my husband was probably working long shifts at the hospital, and I was tackling zoom school with two kinds under 6, and still trying to create inspiration, all while sacrificing sleep. 2020 ya’ll.
PLANNERS, do you sometimes look at other planners in envy because you’re like ‘damn’, I wish I had the support of my spouse to build the things I dream up like that other planner/designer does?
Do you ever feel like that because maybe you don’t, that it holds you back? If so, you’re not alone.
ME, I have always felt that way. BUT, I’ve also learned that I can’t be everyone. AND I’ve also needed to look for the good. AND it’s okay to only focus on where you can succeed in this ‘moment’ of life. This too, shall pass.
My husband is always the first to make sure I’ve got a water bottle filled, pack me a lunch, remind me to get rest and sleep, take care of the kids when he’s home, and well, he’s easy on the eyes. 😉
Look for the good today, and be proud on what you’ve accomplished!
