This weekend was a lengthy and sweltering experience. On Saturday, we catered a regatta, member dinner, and a wedding for over 220 guests. My team and I successfully executed the events, with the bride and groom expressing extreme satisfaction. I incorporated some of Gott2lovefoodllc’s signature hors d’oeuvres, including my Chicken Parm Eggrolls, which were well-received. Preparing five distinct menus within a 48-hour timeframe was a notable achievement, and I am proud of my team’s efforts. I’m relieved to be home today, where I can enjoy the comfort of a fan after a busy field day.

Menu for the wedding included
Strawberry Arugula Salad with Shaved Parmesan Balsamic Glaze,

Duet: Surf and Turf, featuring Filet and Lobster tails on Creamy parmesan Risotto and Sautéed haricot vert.

Wild weekend starting off with some new menu items starting off at Seawanhaka Yacht club. My garlic soy sweet sticky Ribs as apps and my Braised Lamb shank on garlic mash with a rosemary Demi glacé. Also Friday night was our New Members night. So put together stations and I said why not go do the pasta station I used to do for my catering company. Then Mother’s Day today at Seawanhaka. With the intro of my mother’s rice pilaf which everyone loved. I hope everyone enjoyed the beautiful weather. I’m gonna enjoy a couple of well deserved days off. Happy Mother’s Day to all the Moms!!!!

I want to take minute real quick to thank Sal and his son Franco for the professional courtesy and for being absolute gentleman in helping me settle getting my cousin her favorite rainbow cookies for her wedding in Texas this weekend. It’s been a crazy two months at my new job. Within a month of being hired as Exec Sous, the Exec Chef leaves and I get put into the head roll. The last two weeks have been busy, but fast. It’s all working out as the New Executive Chef of Seawanhaka Yacht Club, on Centre Island right next to Bayville NY. Been putting rocking out the good food and everybody is happy. It’s been tough spending so much time away from the family but they been so understanding. Lets keep it going
