Whoo hoo! Well, it finally happened! Look who just RETIRED! Hallelujah! Yippee! “Praise the Lord”! 👏🙏
Working since I was 10 years old babysitting, to working retail & at SW Airlines in my late teens & early 20’s, to being a Sales Secretary in the corporate world in my mid to late 30’s, to being an Interior Decorator in my 40’s & 50’s, and lastly as an Event Planner and Venue Owner in my 50’s & 60’s….my work career is done!
I have leaned on God so many times during this journey, throughout the years, and trusted him to guide me through the ups and downs, along with the encouragement, love and support from my wonderful sons, daughter-in-laws & grandchildren, nieces & other family members, awesome long time friends and great co-workers! I want to thank you ALL for being there for me! Your love, encouraging words and support over the years is what kept me going!
I will always be grateful to my father and mother in law who believed in me and helped me get started on my dream of owning a venue and planning events! I hope I made you proud!
A shout out to my amazing Di Amici Team! I feel very blessed and thankful to have had them as part of my Di Amici family! Everyone’s hard work and dedication has contributed to making Di Amici a success for the last 13 years! With planning and executing hundreds and hundreds of weddings, fun corporate parties, celebratory birthdays and celebrations, school proms and banquets over the years, having repeat clients, and lots of 5 star reviews…it’s all because of their hard work and commitment! We are truly a family and always will be!
I would also like to thank the many vendors we worked with over the years, but especially Pomodoro’s who worked side by side with us! They are an amazing catering company! I am so blessed to have met so many wonderful vendors, and clients too, who now I consider to be great friends!
Most of all, I need to thank my amazing husband, Ric, who stuck by my side through it all! His endless hours helping me close the venue late at night, moving to New Braunfels so we could be close to our kids and grandkids, traveling back and forth these past few years after Covid to Houston to work at the venue…just so I could follow my dreams!! He is, and always will be, my hero! Love you Ric!
I am super excited to see what the future holds for me! So thrilled to be able to finally have quality time to spend with my kids and grandkids, who are my “biggest” joy, travel with family and friends and simply just have time to relax and take care of myself spiritually and physically.
Can’t believe it’s over, but super excited to enjoy every minute going forward! Thank you God for making my life so full! Love to you all! ❤️🙏😘
