Ten years of curating dance parties. First-ever award nomination — Club DJ/DJ Party Act of the Year at the Steamtown Music Awards, and it feels correct 🏆

This year I went solo for the first time in a decade, and reinvented my whole approach to curating a party — a scene, a feeling. At 42, at my most authentic gender fluid self, in the climate we’re living in, that kind of reinvention means something. It’s been profound.

So much of this year’s magic came from collaborating with my bb, one of the most talented people I know, Memphis Divine and her House of Divine — together we helped to reinvigorate Scranton’s drag scene, throwing q***r parties everywhere from The Bog Scranton to Backyard Ale House to Jacks Draft House & our current residency at Ruddy’s, we are building spaces where joyful, authentic self-expression is the whole point. Especially for my fellow q***r babes.

So — if you’ve ever come to one of my parties and had the best night, felt fully yourself, met a friend, or just got to forget about what’s hard for a little while — that’s the whole point of what I do, and I’d be so grateful for your vote.

Ash is opening her new Scranton studio AND dropping a photography art show, “Remembering Herself” featuring real women, real stories, real moments of becoming. First Friday just got elevated.
Expect good music, signature cocktails, charcuterie, chair massages, pole performances, flash tattoos, permanent bracelets, and a room full of people who showed up for something meaningful.
