A little tip for anyone calling a DJ (or any event professional) for a quote:
If the price is outside your budget, please don’t say, “Let me talk to my spouse, we’ll call you back.”

Nine times out of ten… that call never comes.

Let’s normalize being direct. It’s respectful, saves everyone’s time, and avoids unnecessary follow-ups.

Instead, try saying:
• “You’re outside my budget. Thank you.”
• “That’s a little more than I can afford.”
• “Is there any flexibility in your pricing?”
• “That’s more than I was planning to spend.”

Trust me, we won’t be offended. We’d much rather hear an honest answer than be left wondering.

Clear communication goes a long way, and it shows respect for everyone’s time.
