Today is a sad day in the 17-year history of Girly Girlz.

As with many other small businesses, the effects of the coronavirus pandemic have become insurmountable and have forced us to close our doors.

*Our last day of business for services/appointments will be Monday, October 12. To book one of our remaining slots, email us with the subject line “Reservation”: [email protected].

*Our last day of businesses for retail/shopping will be Sunday, October 25. All items in our store are 50% (while supplies last); shopping remains by appointment only. To book a shopping appointment, email us with the subject line “Shopping Appointment”: [email protected].

**Appointment slots are limited and are “first come, first served.**

Since the start of this terrible pandemic back in March, we have been overwhelmed by the support of so many of you, who bought our Crafty Take-Out bags and Spa Kits To Go! for curbside pick-up, or shopped online. YOU are the ones who have allowed us to stay open even this long, 7 months after the start of this pandemic. We SEE you, and we THANK YOU!

*A plea on behalf of other small, local businesses: Owning a small business - even outside of a pandemic - is extremely difficult these days. For your favorite small businesses to stay open, it requires your support - shopping there regularly instead of the “big” stores or Amazon, telling your friends, posting positive reviews online, patronizing more than just once a year. If there are local businesses you love, that you want to see remain open, you must SHOP LOCAL and patronize them regularly. Small business owners are your neighbors, a part of your community, and you have no idea how much your business means to them.

We will miss you, and we will miss seeing girls’ faces light up as they walk into our store, as they get their Glittery “Do,” and as they experience the joy of what it means to be a Girly Girl.
