FEATURE DANCER FOR GOLDEN SWAN GALA:
Myles Lavallee is a Los Angeles–based freelance artist, choreographer, and master class teacher. Originally from Phoenix, Arizona, he trained at various dance studios and attended Arizona School for the Arts and later the School of American Ballet. He has danced with Ballet Arizona, Les Grands Ballets Canadiens de Montréal, and Hubbard Street Dance Chicago.
Myles has performed works by Crystal Pite, Ohad Naharin, William Forsythe, Jiřà Kylián, and George Balanchine, and has been commissioned to choreograph for Ballet Arizona’s Innovations program, as well as choreographic workshops at LGBC and HSDC. He travels nationally teaching master classes, sharing his knowledge and encouraging dancers to push boundaries and expand their artistic voice.
His recent work includes the premiere of his newest piece “Leaving With Hope” created on and performed by, LACDC and performance with RZA (founding member of the Wu-Tang Clan)  in A Ballet Through Mud. You can also spot Myles as a dancer in the new music video of  “Hold On” by Rhye. He has also performed with Para Mar Dance Theatre, BodyTraffic, Post Ballet, Ishida Dance Company, and Heidi Duckler Dance.
