Avalon has the privilege and pleasure of curating entertainment for the Hyatt Gainey Ranch in Scottsdale. We have an amazing lineup for Cinco de Mayo weekend. Starting 3pm this Saturday, Mariachi Chapala will stroll poolside. at 6:30pm, Santana y Mas and on Sunday, 6:30pm, Mex-Sal. If you're in town and want to celebrate in style, the Hyatt Scottsdale is the place to be!

We recently assisted with a wonderful event at “Great Wolf Lodge, Scottsdale.” Known for its outstanding family recreation activities, the property’s event space should not be overlooked. The pool area was a perfect setting for an “Island” theme evening. This was followed by a second, tie-in, Brazilian night starting in their ballroom and moving to additional outdoor space. Entertainment, decor, cuisine, and a wonderful service staff combined to create a magical experience for guests.

TEAMS & TENORS
Avalon’s client asked for a “wow” component for their awards evening. We combined an afternoon, charitable guitar team building activity followed by an incredible performance by the “3 Waiters” just prior to the evening awards presentation; two amazing events in one day connected by music. The finished guitars were displayed on stage and our client was more than delighted by their guests’ response to the entire program.

Since the resurgence in Meetings and Conventions Avalon has been happily busy helping our clients with DMC services and special events. We love doing fun things and activities that captivate and engage attendees. Other benefits to our clients include: Break up monotony, create a memorable experience, foster networking and collaboration and finally, differentiation. Entertainment can help an event stand out from others in the same industry. By offering unique and memorable entertainment options, a client may be able to differentiate their event and attract more attendees.

In Arizona, one of the most requested genres to open a General Session is Native American which so beautifully pays tribute to Arizona’s history and heritage. This recent performance for an Association was privileged to have Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallegos as the guest of honor. After her opening remarks, she introduced Ken and Talon Duncan, two of Avalon’s long time friends and performers.

Avalon produced this exciting event at the Sheraton Mesa Wrigleyville West. Components included great entertainment, handouts and audience interaction, lighting and decor to transform the pool space, top food and beverage from the venue , and five star service. Attendees were very happy and the planners were beyond thrilled with the evening.

It is exciting to see live events come back with such enthusiasm. We were pleased to produce an event at Top Golf Scottsdale featuring magnificent views, a private dining area, and loads of fun! Tournament play was concurrent with a steak, chicken, and vegetable fajitas buffet. At the start of the event, our client asked “what do I need to do?” Our response was, “have a great time, we’ve got everything handled.” At the end of play, prizes were awarded and we loaded the coaches for the return trip to their hotel. Our client was beaming, – delighted with the venue and the evening. Below is a quick, 45 second video collage to provide a glimpse of the event.

GLOW GAMES

It is wonderful to see live events coming back. This week, we had great fun assisting our client with unique, glow in the dark games. A Giant Pacman, 9 hole miniature golf course, and other activities, gave the guests a “wow” experience.

It is so rewarding for us to provide extraordinary services that result in great times and great memories. It takes many elements, cooperation and teamwork to give clients and their attendees an outstanding result. That said, we’d like to thank the incredible team at the WeKoPa Resort and Casino for their “can do” approach and five star service.
