Could that friend of yours end up being π¦π¨π«π than a friend?
According to a study in the journal ππ°π€πͺπ’π ππ΄πΊπ€π©π°ππ°π¨πΊ π’π―π₯ π±π¦π³π΄π°π―π’ππͺπ΅πΊ ππ€πͺπ¦π―π€π¦, 1,897 people were asked the question βWhat was your relationship with your partner before you became romantically involved?β An overwhelming ππ π©ππ«πππ§π π¨π π«π¨π¦ππ§πππ¬ blossom from initially platonic friendships, with the friendships lasting an average of ππ.π π¦π¨π§ππ‘π¬ before becoming romantic.
These results challenge a preponderance of data saying otherwise, much of it coming from biased journals and books that βoverwhelmingly focus on a romance that sparks between strangers and overlooks romance that develops between friends.β
