If you knew as a child and in highschool, this career I have built wouldn't surprise you at all.

A wedding planner/coordinator is basically the reason you get to be a guest at your own wedding instead of the person running it.

We are the ones behind the scenes making sure the timeline stays on track, vendors know where to go, décor is where it belongs, the wedding party knows what’s happening next, and little problems get handled before you even know they happened.

Without a coordinator, all of those questions still have to go to someone — and usually that becomes the bride, groom, mom, maid of honor, or another family member who should be enjoying the day.

Your wedding day shouldn’t feel like an event you’re managing. It should feel like an event you showed up to enjoy.

That’s what a great planner/coordinator gives you: less decision-making, less stress, fewer interruptions, and more time actually being present.
