At Hippies Modern Studio, we want your imagination to run free.

Think of us as less of a store and more of a place to gather, create, relax, and enjoy time with friends.

Yes, we have beautiful pieces from local artists throughout the shop, but we hope you see more than just the finished product. We hope you notice the creativity, the time, the thought, and the love that went into each handmade item.

Our workshop area was created for that same reason: to give you space to bring out your own creativity.

Join one of our workshops, purchase a ceramic piece to paint, and simply settle in at the workshop table with your earbuds, your favorite music or podcast, and let yourself relax for a little while.

Come hang out, create something, and enjoy the process. That’s what Hippies Modern Studio is all about.

Tea… what a beautiful thing nature gave us.

Here’s a simple caffeine-free chai recipe to warm you up and slow you down a little. Adjust the spices to your liking and make it your own.

Decaffeinated Chai Tea

1 cinnamon stick
5 whole cloves
6 green cardamom pods, cracked
10 black peppercorns
1/4 teaspoon dried ginger
Rooibos tea
2-3 star anise
4 cups water

Simmer for 20 minutes, strain, sip, and enjoy. Simple, cozy, and straight from nature.
