Our last wedding of 2025. The couple chose patterns with dainty floral boarders with soft colors, and gold patterns, from 1930-40s era, mostly old Noritake patterns, and silverware from the same time period. The glass ware is in amber and green patterns from 1950 - 1970s. The table was set on a black cloth with ferns, candles, and terra cotta pots. A beautiful mix of vintage and modern.

Happy New Year fellow china lovers 🎄❤️🎉. I’m drinking coffee and contemplating packing up the Christmas decorations. But, I’ll keep using this Spode Christmas Tree set for a while. I hate to put it away. This collection started 25 or so years ago when my husband asked what I wanted for Christmas then a few dinner plates were under the tree on Christmas morning. Each year a few more pieces arrived like clock work. We eat every meal on them. My sister and mother in-law then got in on it and the collection grew by leaps and bounds. Serving bowls, platters, mugs and more. One year we hosted a large dinner and I was two dinner plates short. Sent Richie, hubby, off to the mall for two dinner plates and he came home with a boxed set stating they did not have any “singles”. I use the tea cups for punch, or gumbo, as well as tea. I think I have 20 cups, maybe more. The time came to stop adding. I had to tell Richie that the collection was complete. The cabinets and hall closet were full. So we bought the hutch at a local auction house. It’s been years since I found Christmas china under the tree but I enjoy it just as much as the day I received each piece.

Hello China lovers. Lillian’s China is purging platters, bowls, gravy/sauce boats, and more. They don’t rent and we need the shelf space. They are hitting facebook marketplace today at low prices for Savannah pick up. Holiday parties are right around the corner and you need these.

Do you need (or want) some bowls? We are clearing out some shelves and have several sets of blue and white bowls for sale on Facebook market place. No shipping, Savannah pick up. They are 6.5” across, 2” deep, perfect for a bowl of chili or soup.

I love when couples come over and play with the dishes! We set a table of soft greens in olive and moss with a touch of amber and gold. The china is mostly old Noritake patterns from the 1940s, silver plate is a mix of 1930-50s, and the glassware is mostly 1960s. It all mixes beautifully.
