We love recommending a short thank-you speech from the couple at the beginning of the reception — just a few heartfelt words welcoming your guests and thanking everyone for celebrating with you.

Then, save the toasts for toward the end of dinner. It creates a natural transition into the next part of the evening.

Keeping speeches intentional and well-timed helps the reception flow beautifully without interrupting dinner or slowing down the celebration.

One of the best parts about getting married in Savannah is the variety of truly unique venues tucked throughout the city. From historic homes and gardens to rooftops, riverfront spaces, museums — and yes, even the Georgia State Railroad Museum — there are so many ways to create a wedding that feels completely your own.

The Railroad Museum is such a perfect example: historic architecture, open-air spaces, industrial details and so much character already built into the setting.

One year ago, they brought a little Mediterranean magic to Savannah.

Last September, family and friends gathered at Victory North for a celebration full of color, culture, incredible food, lush details, and so much personality. Every corner felt intentional, every detail told a story, and once the party started… their guests understood the assignment.

Happy first anniversary to this incredible couple. Here’s to many more years of color, joy, and dancing like no one is watching. 🧡
