Nicole + Christian 🥰 This sweet couple chose a morning elopement beneath the oak trees in Savannah’s Forsyth Park.

Nicole’s mom and dad walked her down the aisle, where she and Christian saw each other for the first time that day. After the ceremony, they took family photos before exploring Forsyth Park for portraits by the iconic fountain and beautiful white columns.

Savannah’s famous squares are beautiful from just about every angle. 🌿

Everyone knows the fountains and gazebos, but some of our favorite wedding photo backdrops are tucked away on the other sides of the squares.

Our team of photographers knows Savannah like the back of their hands, and we love taking couples to spots they might never have thought to look for. Sometimes all it takes is turning around or walking a few steps to find a completely different backdrop.

One of the best things about getting married in Savannah is that you can do a LOT on foot. 🌿

Many of our couples can walk from their Airbnb to their ceremony to beautiful portrait locations around the Historic District, without ever needing a car.

But if you want to cover more ground for photos, need transportation from where you’re getting ready or to dinner afterward, or just want a fun photo op along the way, there are some very Savannah ways to do it:

🚙 Book a classic car with Callans Classics (which you can do as an add-on through our package!✨)
🚲 Hop on a Savannah Pedicab

You definitely don’t need transportation for every Savannah elopement—but it can be a fun way to see more of the city, get to more photo locations, and add a little something extra to the day. ✨

Rain on your Savannah elopement day doesn’t necessarily mean rain all day. ☔️

Savannah weather has a habit of changing quickly, and sometimes the best thing you can do is just go with it. Wait out a heavier shower. Grab the clear umbrellas. Shift the timeline by a few minutes. Trust the people you hired to know what to do.

And sometimes, just keep taking photos as the raindrops lightly fall around you.

Because Savannah in the rain is truly magical. Soft light, glistening streets, Spanish moss dripping from the oak trees, and that dreamy, almost movie-scene feeling.

Your wedding day doesn’t need perfect weather to be beautiful. It just needs a little flexibility and a team you trust to roll with whatever Savannah decides to do that day. 🤍
