“I love you like a fat kid loves cake” -Los Riveros

Karin and Junior not only had a wedding cake, but mini cakes in various flavors at each guest’s table, that also served as table numbers for the reception, featuring Polaroids of their fur-baby. After dinner, they went to each table for a mingle moment and to serve cake to that table. Such a fun twist on serving cake!!

How do you know when to send out your wedding stationary? Here is a basic guideline for what to send out and when with the basic rule:

- Send Save-The-Dates out 9+ months for local events, 12+ for destination.

- Send Invitations 4+ months out.

- Have your RSVP due date 6 weeks before the event date to give yourself plenty of time to update vendors, floorplans, seating charts, and everything else that is guest count dependent.

The planner turned Bride. Yes….I included time for pinning boutonnieres and reception space fluffing on my own timeline…cause that’s where I thrive!

I truly never understood how quickly the day goes by, or how difficult it is try chat and interact with all of your guests, while also taking everything in and living in the moment until now.

Having both perspectives really changed the game for me and the way I go about building timelines and giving advice! What’s something you wish you could re-do as a bride?
