As many of you know, GNM never quite reached what we envisioned and ended up having to move with founder Brian Shields to be part of Heavy Blog Is Heavy. January 30th, 2015, Shields passed away at the age of 53. We have set up a grant in his name to allow smaller bands an opportunity towards touring. You can help the grant become a reality by donating to this campaign which offers many perks from our friends and bands like The Contortionist, Abiotic, and Intronaut. Any donation over $5 will also include a digital download for the Brian Shields Tribute Album which is expected for release later this month on 4/20. R.I.P. an amazing friend to the metal community, may Brian Shields' legacy continue on.
