An off-beat maritime wedding venue in Sausalito California, Butterflute's is located in a functioning Boat Lettering Shop surrounded by a Secret Garden, which was Voted Best Of in Sausalito.
Your ceremony will be officiated by the one and only: Victoria Colella! Local Historian, Tour Guide, Boat Lettering and other Graphics Queen, owner of said Butterflute's and occasionally known for singing a Seaside Chanty!
Did we mention, a ceremony for two starts at only $500?

What exactly is entailed ~AKA~ "How does this work?"
Once you secure the date, I will email you the following:
1) Basic Wedding Ceremony
(which you can customize to your preference)
2) Directions to the Parking Area
3) Your Statement Liability Waiver.

Can I bring a photographer without being charged extra? Yes.
Can I bring young children without being charged extra? Yes. If under the age of 3.
If this is an elopement, what kind of Marriage Certificate should I get? A confidential Wedding Certificate.
What is a confidential marriage certificate? This allows you to marry without witnesses.
If I bring witnesses is there an additional al charge?
Yes - an additional $250.
WE BRING THE CHAPEL TO YOU!
Whether on a boat, in a forest or at you favorite restaurant, our minister will add a special flare to your ceremony.

How long does it take?
The Ceremony itself takes about a 1/2 Hour.

โI will meet you and your guests in front of the wedding chapel and present you with your Shipyard Bouquet. After your guests are situated, I will walk you through the process. Which includes the following:
1) Escorting you and your partner to the sitting area at the beginning of "the isle."
2) Listen for my flute and begin walking down "the isle" towards the chapel.
3) Once in front of the chapel I will welcome you and your guests with a brief overview of this historic venue.
4) Brief smudging ceremony to clear the energy.
5) Perform the wedding ceremony.
6) Celebrate! Your cake and bubbly await you inside the chapel, or outside in the garden weather permitting.
7) Photo time! I can take photos and send them to you or you are welcome to bring a photographer. (We have a list of local photographers we can provide and are listed on our website: https://www.butterflutesweddingchapel.org/resources)
