Sausalito Boat Show

One of our favorite moments from this year’s Sausalito Boat Show was welcoming cadets from the Mexican Navy to spend the day with our waterfront community.

The cadets were visiting the Bay aboard the ARM Cuauhtémoc, the Mexican Navy’s 297-foot sail-training tall ship and goodwill ambassador, which sailed beneath the Golden Gate during its visit to San Francisco. (CBS News)

They brought a little bit of that maritime tradition to Sausalito with knot-tying demonstrations, some brave turns in the dunk tank, model boat racing, and even a song from the deck of .

Thank you to the cadets and crew of the Cuauhtémoc for coming to the Sausalito Boat Show, sharing your traditions with us, and spending the day with our community. It was a special addition to an already memorable weekend.
