After 30 long years its official! R&M from Chicago have been committed to each other and built a family together over the past 30 years and they finally tied the knot in Cocoa Beach in front of their closest loved ones. A surprise 50th vow renewal... We had the pleasure of working with a family from Ohio who were coming to Cocoa Beach to celebrate their parents 50th Anniversary. Their daughter in-law planned a surprise vow renewal ceremony by telling them they were going to have some family photos taken on the beach. This was their reaction when they saw the sign welcoming them to their own vow renewal. What a fun family! They were cracking jokes throughout the entire ceremony, but yet it was also super sweet and touching. It was a great reminder of the power of love, marriage and family.🥰❤️🌤🏝

Just when I thought I knew of all the cool places in Brevard County, Florida for an outdoor wedding ceremony, I found a new one while researching locations for a client. I wanted to share this unique, intimate and gorgeous setting as I'm trying to get better about posting to Social.

There is a beautiful white gazebo steps away from the Banana River that would make the perfect spot for a small wedding ceremony! And most interesting, it's part of the Carter-Fuller Mound Complex which was a burial site for over 100 people that was discovered in the 1930s. There were also ornamental and utilitarian artifacts buried along with the human remains and it was said "They were built by the ancestors of the prehistoric Ais tribe, a group who occupied the Cape Canaveral area at the time of European contact" according to the Historical Marker Database.

While much of the remains was brought to museums, I can't seem to find information on whether or not there are still human remains there. This could be a really neat marriage location for a couple interested in history and or ghostly ideas.
