Since the last election how many of you have noticed the changes in the city of Sardis? I truly feel that the Mayor, Alderman, and Fellow Board Members are doing the job that we as the citizens voted for them to do.. We are now ran by a town that doesn't discriminate on neither side of the tracks. In the past it was always about the EAST SIDE (WHITE SIDE) now we're finally seeing changes on both sides. In my 16 years of being in sardis this is the first time ive saw the streets being repaved on the (WEST SIDE) of the track. We now can have a peaceful softball game on the ball field that we pay taxes for (in which that was once taken from us). We also have a new RECREATIONAL PARK in the process next to the field and for our kids that walk to school their will soon be a SAFETY SIDE WALK on the EAST SIDE of HWY 51 from dewberry headed to NORTH PANOLA HIGH SCHOOL. We also now CELEBRATE JUNE 10TH in our very own town, thats a beauty of its owns. Lots of more in the making as well but i just wanted to point out that YOUR VOTES does make a difference.

Ps.. dont get me wrong we still have a few across the tracks that are racist and set in their ways but we will continue our journey and look over them. Until further notice PEACE UPON YOU BROTHERS AND SISTERS ✊🏿
