Come out tonight and join us for a glass of Dinner…

Yes, you read that right, a glass.
Yes, of course you can order a meal for dinner as well, but we are ecstatic to pour this sought after beer from one of the best breweries on the planet tonight!

We were lucky enough to be one of the few restaurants in the area to receive one of these extremely limited kegs, and happy to be in the company of the other locations that are pouring it. Makes us feel honored to be in the same conversation with them. Yes, we’re talking about you Mohawk Taproom & Grill and The Rusty Nail.

We will be tapping this bad boy at 4pm (maybe a little earlier) today, and we are sure it will be gone quick! So don’t wait, come out tonight and enjoy it.

We're back with another edition of The Hideaway Chronicles!
This week's comic actually contains some important news… It's not just us making fun of our wonderful staff.

This week, we're excited to officially introduce our new Employee Appreciation Discount Program!

We've partnered with some incredible businesses in and around Saratoga to create a network where employees can enjoy exclusive discounts simply for supporting one another. At The Hideaway, we're offering 10% off an employee's bill, and each participating business has created its own unique offer based on the type of business they operate.

To make everything easy to find, The Hideaway and Collaborate518 have built a website that keeps all participating businesses and their offers in one place, and we already have more to add:

We're excited about the businesses already participating, and we believe that list will only continue to grow now that the program is officially live.

How it works for employees:

What's the saying... "When life gives you lemons, make lemonade?"

Well... we were handed one of those situations today.
Except in our case, when the food supplier accidentally sends the wrong ciabatta rolls... we make Muffalettas. And let's be honest... that's way tastier than lemonade. 😄

We made a post a few weeks ago about starting a new Employee Appreciation Program for not only our amazing staff but also the wonderful staff at all 518 businesses. Well, now we're taking the first step to start it up and are looking for all businesses that would like to participate.

We'd love to invite other Saratoga and surrounding-area businesses to join us in creating a community-wide Employee Appreciation Discount Program.

The concept is simple:
🤝 Participating businesses offer a small discount or perk to employees of other participating businesses.
❤️ Employees simply show a recent pay stub (paper or digital) to receive the discount.
🏡 Local businesses support local employees, who in turn support local businesses.

At The Hideaway at Saratoga Lake, we'll be offering 10% off to employees of all participating businesses, and we'd love to see this grow into something that benefits everyone in our community.

We are partnering with Cooperate518 to build a website that lists all partnering businesses and highlights their deals for quick reference. We are also considering a Facebook group for participating businesses to add their staff to and use to promote additional specials.

Tomorrow evening (7/29) we're bringing a little Italy to The Hideaway at Saratoga Lake. 🇮🇹🍷

Join us from 4:00–9:00 PM for a special Italian Night, featuring a curated menu created by our very own Chef Adrienne.

If you've had the pleasure of trying her Chicken Riggies or Utica Greens, you already know she has a passion for authentic cuisine. Tomorrow, she's showcasing some of her favorite Italian dishes, including:

🍝 Polpette (Italian Meatballs)

But the menu is just the beginning.

You spoke, and we listened...

One of the biggest pieces of feedback we received about The Hideaway Chronicles was that it was a little difficult to read on a phone.

So... we fixed it.

The comic now slides frame by frame, making it much easier to read without having to zoom in or squint. It's not a massive change, but we wanted everyone to know that we really do pay attention to the feedback we receive—whether it's about our silly comic, a menu item, a daily special, or anything else. We're always listening, and we're always looking for ways to improve.

Now, onto some other news...

🎸 No Rich Ortiz this evening, as he has another engagement, but be sure to catch him next week for our first Sunset Series performance!

Weather permitting, Rich will be performing outside on the patio from 7:15–9:15 PM. We'll have dinner service available on the upper deck, while the patio downstairs will be reserved for drinks and live music. Reservations are already coming in, so be sure to reserve your table today.

But wait... there's more. (Sorry, we do like to ramble.)

👨‍🍳 Tomorrow evening, we'll be showcasing one of our incredibly talented chefs for a special night of traditional Italian cuisine.

Chef Adrienne has put together a menu featuring some of her favorite specialties, and after tasting everything ourselves... let's just say you're going to want to make plans. We'll be sharing the full menu and photos later today, so keep an eye on our page.

Tim here again (yes, that's my head superimposed on a golfer's body).

On a slightly more serious note, Facebook has me a little concerned at the moment. I've received some unusual messages on my personal account asking for my driver's license, verification, and all sorts of other fun things. I'm hoping it's nothing, but if my personal account decides to disappear, there's a chance it could temporarily affect this page as well.

Hopefully it never comes to that, but I just wanted to be upfront with everyone in case things get a little quiet for a bit.

Now, back to the important stuff...

It’s been a week here at The Hideaway… and we’re more than ready to kick off a new one. 😅

Now, this week’s comic may exaggerate things just a little… but what fun would it be if it didn’t?

We’ll be serving up two great specials tonight, along with the debut of a few new desserts. Reservations are filling up quickly, but we still have a few tables available. Grab one while you can!

🥩 Filet Mignon Special
A perfectly cooked 6 oz filet, served with grilled asparagus and loaded mashed potatoes. Simple, classic, and absolutely delicious.

🍔 Smack & Cheese Burger
