New hobby unlocked with junk journaling. 🥰 I loved slowing down and keeping the memories of Christmas going with these journaling pages using gift wrap and tags from this Christmas. It’s a combination from the gifts both myself and my girls received. I also used some cutouts from magazines as cute little extras. Did you know that you can use scotch tape on magazines to pull off the images/wording to make stickers?

A day late for the art challenge but I’m back to letting the creativity flow after the holiday festivities. And yes, I know my mind should be on designing for Valentine’s Day but I always stay in the holiday mood until the new year as I truly love this time. Less obligations, time off from work and just a time to relax and catch up on things that may have been slipping to the side 😉. So in keeping in the holiday spirit, today I share with you my creation for the Red and Retro prompt of the art challenge. Christmas is in just 9 days. Are you plum excited or stressed out? Still not sure how I feel about this as I feel like Christmas is coming faster than ever this year. I’m sure I’m not the only one feeling this way. PS: This art is one of my latest holiday illustrations and I’m happy to join in the “Sugar Plum Treats” prompt for the art challenge.
