I have started this post more than a dozen times and can only make it part the way through. It is with a heavy heart that after 12 years I (Sean Hintze) am throwing in the towel.😔It has been a roller coster of a ride. The last 3 years beat me! I did everything I could do to stay on top! I stopped shooting; I quit competing. I put everything back in, even to the detriment of my family, for that I am forever sorry! I can’t even begin to calculate the sheer mass of smoked meat we have sent out our doors! I am humbled by the number of amazing people I have had the opportunity to meet and become friends with. To all those in uniform: Military, LEO, Fire, First Responders, and all others, I have and always will salute you! I am forever in your debt! To all the thousands of shooting friends, shoot straight and if all else fails, Always Hold Left Edge! 😂 We will shoot again! To all my competition steak cookers: medium rare, although cooked to perfection is underdone! 🤣 Cook on my friends! We will break bread again! I am moving on, even though I don’t know what I will do! On a serious note, (it’s not often that I am serious, LOL) if you know of someone looking for a seasoned, brought up drinking from a garden hose, riding bikes without a helmet, street lamp curfew, Mother and Father respecting dude, let’s get in touch!
I do have someone taking over the location. I invite you to still come in! I will continue to do catering to the best of my ability! Y’all are like family; the restaurant like my 2nd home. My oldest 2 got their first jobs there and my youngest 2 grew up there. Y’all have seen my youngest 2 taking out food and bussing tables. I will still offer Sean’s rubs, sauces, etc. online and in person so you can have a little taste at home. Most of you have my number. It’s been on the wall for 12 years. Please keep in touch.
With much love and gratitude,
The Hintze Family
