Their beautiful ceremony at St. Mary's Church was filled with emotion, happy tears, and the kind of love you can feel the moment they look at each other. As sunlight poured through the stained glass windows, Meghan walked down the aisle looking absolutely breathtaking, while Ryan couldn’t hold back his smile seeing his future wife for the very first time.

The celebration continued at the elegant Hall of Springs, where family and friends gathered for an unforgettable night of laughter, dancing, heartfelt speeches, and nonstop joy. From their romantic first dance to the quiet moments they shared together in between the celebration, every part of the day reflected the deep connection they share.

I am writing this review based on my direct professional experience as a subcontracted wedding photographer for Picture This Weddings out of Dover, NH. I was contracted to photograph four weddings in early September and October of 2025. According to the company’s own handbook, subcontractors are supposed to be paid within 15 days of submitting their completed files. Despite fulfilling my responsibilities and delivering all required work on time, I have only received $640 out of the thousands still owed to me.

Every email I sent—addressed to Kayla and Courtney—was met with vague responses, delays, or broken promises regarding payment. Unfortunately, after searching social media and reading BBB complaints, it appears I am not the only vendor experiencing these same issues with this company. Other photographers, videographers, DJs, and service providers have publicly shared similar experiences of not being paid for work completed.

What has been most disappointing is the overall lack of professionalism and respect shown toward the vendors who represent the company on wedding days. We are the ones doing the actual work, interacting with clients, and ensuring their events run smoothly—yet Picture This Weddings has shown little regard for honoring agreements or communicating clearly.

Because of their continued refusal to resolve this matter, I now have to pursue the money owed to me through small claims court—time and energy no professional should have to spend simply to be paid for honest work.

I also feel it’s important to share what I tell my own clients: large national wedding franchise companies often operate on volume. While the packages may look cheaper, the personal service, accountability, and follow-through simply are not the same as booking directly with an independent professional. I’ve seen many couples on social media express regret after choosing companies like this.

Based on my experience, I strongly encourage anyone considering Picture This Weddings to do thorough research and proceed with caution.

Sometimes it’s important to step back and reflect on how far you’ve come. This was one of the very first weddings I photographed over a decade ago—and even then, I could already feel the vision forming. I was driven to create something unique, something that stood out from the rest.
