A proposal - with pics right out of a scene from The Notebook!! 🤩

Darren planned this beautiful proposal for months. On a property they own in Saratoga Springs, he put hard work into prepping the land, and building this beautiful bench, surrounding it with beautiful flowers.
We met the morning of to ensure it was in a good spot, and the weather looked beautiful and partially cloudy - perfect.
As I got into my car that evening to drive to the session, I see the sky getting dark - so I grabbed a few umbrellas just in case.
Well, that became the best decision because right as she arrived - it started to sprinkle. No big deal.
Right after he dropped to his knee, it started to rain. Ok, we got this.
Then as we took a few portraits, it started to pour with wind blowing the umbrellas!
I yelled - "throw the umbrella and just go with it!"
And they did. They ran, spun, embraced, laughed and just had fun celebrating their engagement - all while getting soaked in the process.

Me? I had a huge umbrella - if only you saw me. Two cameras on my hips, holding a huge umbrella to protect them, yelling promps over the pouring rain - all while laughing and genuinely loving this crazy moment for them.

The session was all in all 8 minutes. But somehow I got over 100 GREAT photos, and they have a story to tell, and a memory to share forever. 💕
