For those of you who have asked for more information about what we are doing in our community, here’s a quick update!

We are excited to be part of the CarePortal platform for over a year, alongside with many other churches, to serve our local community.

Our efforts are connected with Bridge a Life, which supports families with foster and adoptive children. The CarePortal also extends its reach to some of the most vulnerable, needy children in our area.

The CarePortal is an online platform that bridges the gap between children and families in crisis and those who want to help. Here’s how it works:

1. Child Welfare Request:
Child welfare workers identify needs for children and families, such as beds, clothing, or transportation, groceries, formula, diapers/wipes etc.

2. Posting the Need:
The identified need is posted on CarePortal,org making it accessible to local churches and community partners.

3. Church/Community Response:
Churches and community members can respond by providing the requested items or services.

4. Building Connections:
After meeting the need, churches and community members often have the opportunity to build ongoing relationships with the families, offering additional support and encouragement.

This platform strengthens the connection between agencies and faith-based communities, ensuring that children in crisis receive the support they need.

Renewal Church's involvement with CarePortal.org demonstrates our commitment to supporting local families and fostering meaningful relationships in our community.
