Owned and operated by John Levy since February 2022. The Belvedere Restaurant is an Italian American restaurant nestled in the heart of the Adirondack Mountains and have been established since 1933 and was owned and operated for three generations by the Cavallo family. In February 2022 a new owner John Levy has taken over the business. There have been some changes to the menu, which we rotate twice a year and feature locally sourced ingredients when available. Stop in and say hi, have a drink and or some food and tell your stories and enjoy the pause in your day with friends, family or a little me time. The menu has something for everyone and we accommodate allergies and dietary restrictions as best as we possibly can. Tonight! Tuesday, October 13th, join us for another Tasting Tuesday — come out and see what dishes John Levy and his team have put together for you to try out. Entrees off the experimental menu are available free of charge as long as you provide us your feedback about the dishes. Bar items are available for purchase, Regular menu items are also available if you’d like to order one of your favorites.

Andy Walkow from Saranac Lake has been performing regionally since 2008 in restaurants, private events, and breweries playing pop, country, and oldies songs from the 1950’s to today.

Accompanied by his acoustic guitar, Andy shares his vast repertoire ranging from the Everly Brothers, Beatles, and Rolling Stones to Cyndi Lauper, Prince, and Lady Gaga, connecting with audiences of all ages.

A favorite of locals and travelers alike, The Belvedere Restaurant has been providing a place at the table from prohibition to present.

There’s another way to experience Saranac Lake—and another reason to make The Belvedere part of your Adirondack travels.

The Belvedere is proud to be part of Harvest Hosts, a network that connects RV travelers with thousands of unique overnight stops at small businesses, farms, wineries, breweries, attractions and other destinations across North America. Members traveling in qualifying self-contained RVs can request overnight stays at participating locations without a traditional camping fee. In return, travelers are encouraged to support the local business they’re visiting.

That means when your Adirondack road trip brings you through Saranac Lake, you can make The Belvedere one of your stops! Park for the night through Harvest Hosts, then come inside, pull up a chair, enjoy dinner or a drink, and experience a restaurant that has been part of the Saranac Lake community since 1933.

Tonight! A Special Thursday edition of our Tasting Program, October 1st — come out and see what dishes John Levy and his team have put together for you to try out. Entrees off the experimental menu are available free of charge as long as you provide us your feedback about the dishes. Bar items are available for purchase, however the tasting menu will only be available in the dining room, as tonight’s the 1st night of Pool League, meaning the bar will be occupied with teams competing in the league. Regular menu items are also available if you’d like to order one of your favorites.

IMPORTANT UPDATES AND ANNOUNCEMENTS:

There will be no Tasting Tuesday on Tuesday, September 29th due to a private event that the Belvedere will be catering. We will however have Tasting Tuesday, on Thursday, October 1st next week. We will return to our regular Tasting Tuesday Schedule on October 6th.
