Floral design took shape as living arrangements nested within locally sourced driftwood, creating a raw yet refined expression of nature in motion. Sculptural details and organic elements layered throughout the design, bringing depth, softness, and intention to every moment.

Guests arrived to Kohl Mansion, greeted with bubbly in hand before being welcomed into the ceremony space — a sweet mint-green room with soaring ornate ceilings and intricate period plasterwork.
While the room’s original tone wasn’t an immediate favorite, we leaned in — reimagining it with cheery brightness and a playful confidence. Bubblegum pink and cherry red danced through the space, transforming it into something both joyfully bold and timelessly romantic.
The playfulness and infectious joy of the entire wedding party echoed throughout the celebration — a perfect reflection of the energy that filled every corner of the day.
A little flirtation of color, a lot of intention, and a reminder that the most unexpected spaces often hold the most magic.

Cherry red meets bubblegum pink in the most joyful, playful reimagination of this historic space. Bold color, unexpected pairings, and a design that didn’t take itself too seriously — yet felt completely intentional in every detail.
I love an opportunity to transform a setting, to shift the mood and tell a new story within familiar walls.

Night 2 | Olas de Color 🌅✨
A night bursting with energy, color, and movement.
Inspired by the Sea of Cortez at golden hour, this dinner came to life through vibrant pinks, sunlit yellows, rich oranges, and the warm glow of a setting sun — a palette that felt alive, radiant, and ever-changing as the evening unfolded.
Olas de Color was designed as an invitation to play, to let go, and to connect freely. To step into the moment and experience the rhythm of the space, the people, and the place.
At the core of Sense of Place is a commitment to honoring the destination — showcasing the artistry, materials, and makers that define it. From hand-painted stitched linens to locally crafted ceramic plates and vessels, every detail was intentionally layered to reflect the richness of Los Cabos. The culinary experience echoed that same artistry, seamlessly pairing with the colors, textures, and energy of the night.
Guests were welcomed with a local tequila experience, setting the tone for an evening rooted in culture, creativity, and connection.
A celebration of color. Of movement. Of what happens when everything — design, destination, and people — come together in perfect harmony.

Night 1 of the Destination FAM Retreat, Sense of Place ✨
Baja Brisa Blanca — inspired by the salty air of the Sea of Cortez and the sculptural beauty of Nido. A night where sea + structure met in the most intentional way.
We layered textures drawn from the coast and the woven nest architecture — soft movement, natural elements, and refined details — each piece thoughtfully placed to create depth, feeling, and flow.
Because the truth is… the most beautiful events are never just one thing. They are layers. Of intention. Of artistry. Of people.
This evening was a reflection of that. A reminder that what we build in this industry is not done alone — it’s shaped by the relationships, the collaboration, and the collective energy in the room.
