I started Paso Bike Tours almost 10 years ago. I just sold it to Erik from Paso Robles Tour Company yesterday. I have known Erik for a while, and I can’t think of a better person to take over. PBT will fit in perfect with his e-bike business. He will now be able to offer everything bike rental related. Some of you I helped a friend or family member get the same type of business started here in the states or in Europe and I hope those dreams are coming true like mine did. Many of you looked inside the bike trailer and commented on the organization. Fear not: I have a new trailer to tow around the country, although it is a few feet longer and a bit heavier! Now my wife and I can visit friends and family all over the U.S. Thank you all for the love and support for all of these years.

The price of fuel has doubled since I started Paso Bike Tours nine years ago. Other recurring costs have increased significantly as well. I have kept the same prices since 2014, but it looks like I will need to increase my prices as of January 1, 2022. If you have already booked, you are locked in at current rates. Thank you for your understanding.

Update as of October 1, 2020:

A while back we posted how we sanitize our bike helmets. Paso Bike Tours has been taking proactive steps to protect against the spread of germs and disease from day one (May 2013). Some of our clients have “caught us in the act” of spraying down, wiping down, cleaning and sanitizing our equipment after each use. We have been using medical grade disinfectants from the beginning. As the owner, I have decades of experience in working under OSHA guidelines with employees, equipment and facilities, as well as the understanding of the result of pathogens and the dangerous impact that can result from the lack of proper attention to detail when it comes to cleanliness.

We are only able to offer bike rentals (no fully guided tours) right now. So come see the sights and enjoy a nice bike ride in this beautiful area. We hope to see you soon!
