Megaplex's goal is to run events that are a safe place for everyone who attends. We are saddened and sorry to hear that people felt harassed or worse during the weekend. This is unacceptable and no person attending the convention should be made to feel this way.

As of today, in response to concerns and feedback from our attendees, we are updating our code of conduct to make it clear that registered s*x offenders are not welcome at Megaplex. We will also be reviewing our policies and procedures to see what more we can do to ensure the safety of our attendees and staff.

To ensure everyone's safety, Megaplex relies on its attendees to report misconduct by lodging an official complaint with the convention staff while in convention space or contacting hotel security and/or filing a police report when outside of convention space. After that, we can investigate and take the appropriate action.

We are committed to improving the convention and making it enjoyable and safe for all.

Santa Cruz's own monthly furr meet! Furries flock to downtown Santa Cruz for food, drinks, socializing, dancing and yes- SUITING!! This takes place on the same night as Santa Cruz's monthly art and wine crawl, so there's plenty of fun to be had.

6pm - Suit Stroll. Every Furrst Friday at 6pm, suiters will embark on an adventure of whimsy along the iconic Pacific Avenue in downtown Santa Cruz! Group photo before the stroll.

Live music and the smells of artisan food fill the air in Abbot Square! With six mini-restaurants, two bars, a quiet Secret Garden, performance space, and lots of public seating, Abbott Square is a space for people from across our community to relax, enjoy performances and art, meet friends and make new ones.

Dress up! Suiting is allowed, ENCOURAGED, but optional- wear whatever you feel comfiest to express your unique individuality. We do not have a changing area or headless lounge. Most suiters get changed in the nearby parking garage.
