With next weekend right around the corner, we figured it was due time we officially introduced our newest residents. Daizz, Laith, and Wyllie have been a huge part of making Tide Swing happen, not to mention they have some of the sickest records in town. It only felt right to bring them on board after each one playing standout sets at our parties last year.

Join us next Saturday Feb 8th as these three take SC back into the underground. Closing things out, TS founder Rik will be serving up a little more basement-ready end of his collection.

Tide Swing returns to the underground for 2025, and this time in a brand new afterhours locale. Join us as we go proper late with Funktion One sound, low lights, and thicc fog.

TS alumni & newly ~nighted~ residents , , and hold down peak time with Rikki Downstairs aka taking us into the wormhole in the tail end of the evening.

The dog days of summer may have come and gone, but a final swell is on the horizon 🌊

Saturday, September 14th, Tide Swing returns to the Seacret Garden for another open air dance - this time with London’s . Known for their lush evolving synthwork, hazy vocals, and dreamy (yet driving) progressive-tinged basslines, we couldn’t think of anyone better suited to closing out the Santa Cruz summer.

Tide Swing residents & .recommended join forces on direct support for an extended opening set before handing things off to our friends from the UK.

3-9pm, open air, free (house for the people!)

Friends of the swing will be selling records so come ready for a dig *listening stations included*

📣 calling all swingers, dancers, diggers, and casual perusers 📣

We’re delighted to be joining in on the first ever .records.ca record fair this Saturday, May 18th. In addition to the already stacked cast of vendors, the Tide Swing fam will be bringing out a few curated crates of dance et al - heads, newbies, vets, &&& of course whoever’s curious are all welcome to have a browse.

… and because we know just how hard it might be to find that unmarked maybe-it’s-ukg-maybe-it’s-downtempo-maybe-it’s-an-eagles-acid-disco-edit white label on Discogs, we’ll have a listening station set up in the booth just for you 🏄‍♂️

Of course, it wouldn’t be a swap without tunes playing all day - be sure to stick around as our resident closes out the party from 4-5pm.

A darker tide is coming this Memorial Day weekend.

Sunday, May 26th (don’t worry, you have Monday off!) we are pleased to be joined by none other than Bay Area legend Solar ( ) of Sunset Sound System. Those familiar with his punk leaning take on psychadelic rave can attest that he’s one of the best in the biz, and we’re honored to have him join us .

On direct support, our good friend puts his own signature psychedelic swing on the dance - a guest long overdue! Starting things off in classic Tide Swing fashion, resident and flyer design extraordinaire .recommended is back in the booth for what is sure to be a journey of a warmup.
