September has a way of sneaking up fast.

A long weekend ends, the calendar fills back in, and suddenly the thing you meant to make plans for is right around the corner.

For us, that next big night is The Doo W*p Project.

Their new show, Echoes of the Street, opens our Spotlight Series season on Friday, September 18 with classic doo-wop harmonies, Broadway-caliber voices, a live band, familiar songs, and the kind of music people tend to remember with someone else.

If you’ve been meaning to look at seats, this is a good week to do it.

Two Fridays from now, this room gets a different kind of energy.

The lights come down. The band is live. The voices are right there. And the songs people grew up with start sounding bigger than they do through a speaker at home.

That is what The Doo W*p Project is built for.

Their new show, Echoes of the Street, brings classic doo-wop harmonies, Broadway-caliber voices, and a live band to the PAC for a night of familiar songs, shared memories, and music that still connects generations.

Some performances are felt before they are explained.

The music. The movement. The color. The way a stage can hold memory, celebration, and tradition all at once.

Enternamente: A DĂa de los Mu***os Spectacular! brings a live cultural performance connected to DĂa de los Mu***os to the PAC on Friday, October 30.

It is music, dance, artistry, and visual storytelling brought together for a night rooted in remembrance and celebration.

This is the night we’re trying to help people picture.

Not just a show title. Not just a date on the calendar.

A Friday night at the PAC. The room filling up. Familiar songs coming back to life through live voices. People sitting with someone who remembers the music, or introducing it to someone hearing it differently for the first time.

That is the better way to think about The Doo W*p Project.

Their new show, Echoes of the Street, brings classic doo-wop harmonies, Broadway-caliber voices, and a live band to the PAC for a night built around familiar music, shared memories, and the kind of songs that still connect generations.

Some songs feel different when you hear them in a room full of people.

Not through a phone speaker. Not in the background while you’re doing ten other things. But live, with the voices right there, the room settling in, and a song you already know suddenly feeling a little bigger than you remembered.

That is what we’re looking forward to with The Doo W*p Project.

Some of the best parts of a night out happen before the show even starts.

Seeing people arrive. Running into someone you know. Finding your seats. Hearing the room start to fill. That little shift when the lights go down and everyone settles in together.

That is one of the things we love about live events.

They bring people into the same room for a while.

More nights like this are coming to the PAC soon.

Some shows do not need homework.

You do not have to study the setlist, know every detail about the group, or figure out whether the music is “for you” before you walk in.

With The Doo W*p Project, the entry point is simple: live voices, familiar songs, tight harmonies, and the kind of music that makes sense the moment you hear it in the room.

Their new show, Echoes of the Street, brings classic doo-wop sound together with newer songs reimagined through that same vocal style.

It is an easy September night out: music you recognize, voices you can feel live, and a show that opens our Spotlight Series season.

There are songs you hear, and then there are songs you remember because of who played them.

A parent in the car. A grandparent in the kitchen. An oldies station that somehow knew exactly what to play. A group of voices coming together in a way that still feels different from everything else.

That is the lane The Doo W*p Project lives in.

Their new show, Echoes of the Street, brings classic doo-wop harmonies, Broadway vocalists, and a live band to the PAC for a night built around songs people know, songs people grew up with, and a few familiar modern songs reimagined through that sound.
