When Ryan and Jay met in early 2015, they had an instant and undeniable connection. They decided together to rebrand Ryan's current photography business of ten years and embark on an exciting adventure of working together as a duo. It became very clear over the next few years that that decision had been meant to be as Burgundy Blue began to scale quickly - and Ryan and Jay tied the knot themselves

in 2017! In 2018, when Ryan and Jay became blessed with a baby on the way, the Burgundy Blue team as a whole began to grow as well. Since then, Burgundy Blue has taken on a life of its own with an entire crew of talented, hard working artists who make the brand what it is today. Burgundy Blue is driven by a shining passion for adventure, love, and the joy and wonder of life. Through the process of growing into a powerhouse team of creatives, Burgundy Blue's quality and efficiency has advanced to even greater levels. The entire team is beyond grateful for the amazing honor that is getting to work with, capture, and preserve the sweet memories of so many wonderful clients who quickly become friends.

There’s a reason continues to be one of our favorite venues to photograph weddings at year after year. Tucked away in Moorpark, California, it has such a unique charm to it - the towering trees, romantic pathways, glowing light, and the way the entire property feels intimate while still being so grand.

Every couple’s wedding somehow feels completely different there, yet the venue always delivers the same magic. We’ve had the honor of capturing so many beautiful celebrations at Walnut Grove over the years, and it never gets old watching couples and their favorite people fully soak in such a stunning setting together.
