“There is the part of this story almost no bride can tell. Brittany is the owner and designer of Daughters of Simone, which means the woman in the dress was also the woman behind it. She wore her own label’s “Montecito” gown with the “Mural” veil for the ceremony, and her submission includes something rarer still: photographs of the design process and the first fitting, the gown coming into being at the hands of its own bride, alongside head seamstress Ijane Tomlin.“
