Something I’ve undoubtedly learned over the years is the necessity of talented and reliable cinematographers on my team. I have a small circle of people I trust to film with me on wedding days, one of which is this absolute gem of a human being - so much so that my family has hired her to film my own sister’s wedding this October. Enjoy this sweet moment of us captured by 🤍 So grateful to be surrounded by a strong team of creatives who push each other endlessly to learn and grow.

My favorite segment of Lyndsey & Ryan’s wedding film - I still get emotional every time I watch these moments.

One of the reasons I love wedding filmmaking so very much is the creative freedom it allows. I get to refine my own artistic approach and tell the story of a wedding in a way that reflects how the day FELT - not simply the chronological order in which each frame was shot. I’m intentional about using the ebbs and flows of emotion to naturally carry the viewer through a wedding film - culminating in the most powerful and impactful moments, like Lyndsey finally walking down the aisle to her adoring groom.

Brooke and Blake. A love so pure, so selfless, so completely unreserved. On their wedding day, I was happily taken aback by the number of times that they pulled each other in close, reached for each other’s hand, giggled together or shared a sweet and spontaneous kiss. Not because anyone told them to, not to pose for the camera, but just being so fully present in their day and experiencing those most cherished memories together. I remembered commenting to about how special it was to see a couple so affectionate with no one even watching. His response was simple: “They’re in love.”
