Music Note Gala 2026 ✨ We are elated to share that a record-breaking $1.2 million was raised at this year’s event to support full scholarships for our Fellowship Institute, expand opportunities for young musicians through our High School Intensive, and sustain Sing! as a free program for youth throughout Santa Barbara.

We are incredibly grateful to Audra McDonald, our honoree Cheryl Goldberg, our attendees, Gala Committee, sponsors, volunteers, and the dedicated Music Academy of the West team who made this celebration possible. Stay tuned - we’ll be sharing more from this special evening soon 🎶

It’s our very last rehearsal trivia of the season! 😖

And it's the final performance of the Festival! Led by renowned conductor David Danzmayr, the stars of our Academy Festival Orchestra are performing Mozart’s Sinfonia Concertante (featuring 4 of the Music Academy’s incredible teaching artists) and Rachmaninoff’s Second Symphony.

We’ll see you there this Saturday, August 8th, at 7:30 PM at the Granada Theatre! 🎵
