Hello there!

I’m Gina, the owner of Lola Video. For those of you who are new to my Instagram page, let me share a bit about myself.

First and foremost, congratulations to all the newly engaged couples! Wishing you the very best as you embark on your wedding planning journey. If you’re in search of videography for your special day, you’ve come to the right place.

I have a passion for filming and capturing beautiful memories. I try not to be too cinematic but more of documentary style looking for the special moments in between. With two decades of experience in weddings and videography my specialties include Super 8mm films and digital video. I believe that Super 8mm offers a timeless quality that evokes a lovely vintage feel. In fact, some weddings I filmed over 15 years ago on Super 8mm still look as fresh as if they were shot yesterday.

As for my interests, I’m all about adventure! I love traveling, exploring new places, collecting new stickers for my little Suzuki Sidekick (as you can see behind me in the photo), music (lots of folk, singer songwriter and indie) and spending time with my two cats, family, and of course, enjoying a good cup of coffee! Thought it was time for a new logo design for my 20th Anniversary of shooting weddings! Can’t believe two decades have already passed. Hundreds of weddings later and I still get excited and nervous on the day of. Can’t wait for my 20th season with some many great clients and working with some of my favorite planners and photographers. Here’s to 2024!!

Oh hi! It’s me, Gina not Lola….there is no Lola really lol! I created Lola Video almost 20 years ago. And here I am finding myself in front of lens!! Eek! I feel so honored to be chosen by her to do my portraits. I personally hate being in the aim of camera, that’s why I chose to be behind one, but Elizabeth made me feel right at home in her lovely studio 💛 Thanks for doing your magic and capturing my true self!
