Story time! This photo was taken one week before my youngest son, Darren was born. I remember having all the emotions whenever I would take pictures. First of all we didn’t know if we were going to have a boy or girl because we didn’t want to know until the baby was born. This was in fact one of the best choices we made. It was so beautiful when we heard our Dr say, “Congratulations, you have a beautiful son”. My pregnancy took a turn during our 3rd month pregnancy ultrasound. We were in a room with 2 specialist and after a couple of scans the room filled up with Drs. We were then told our baby showed signs of scoliosis and lower limb deformation. One thing that stuck in my mind was how much pressure the specialists pushed on us for an abortion. One thing I had clear in my mind was that I had to believe in God and have Faith in Him. Throughout the remaining months we had monthly ultrasound visits and a couple of tests, and we got to see our baby grow. When Darren was born, I was so happy to know that our prayers were answered and he was born without scoliosis like the Drs saw on a month to month basis. He was born without Tibia bones on both legs but we were so happy to know that he was a healthy baby and baby Darren was born!!!
