Fall is upon us!

An alternative to a Halloween celebration, a fall or harvest party is a great idea and a wonderful way to celebrate the coming of autumn.

As a decoration, get in the autumn spirit with browns, yellows and reds. Consider farm-themed decorations such as bales of hay or plates with farm animals.

Snacks can include roasted pumpkin seeds, popcorn and homemade breads such as pumpkin or zucchini bread.

And as a great activity with the kids, explore the inside of a gourd or pumpkin. Let them feel, taste and smell the wonder of the season.
