I’ve never visited another state of Mexico besides Jalisco, but when my friend invited me and a few others out to Michoacán to celebrate his 30th birthday, I couldn’t say no. Morelia was an awesome experience, to say the least! Regardless of the precautions you hear about in the news media, I’d still recommend others to visit simply because of how unique this location is. The locals are beyond friendly; their urban layout and buildings reflect the area’s architectural history so much that it would make you think you’re in Spain, and the food, of course, should be enough to give this place a shot. Glad I captured this underrated city for those that are still skeptical of checking out. I hope you enjoy!
