Event Reservation Policy Update

As a small business, we take great care in creating thoughtful, intimate experiences for our guests. Recently, we’ve seen a significant increase in accidental bookings and last-minute cancellations, particularly for ticketed events.

Each refund not only results in the loss of processing fees (often up to 4.9% of the transaction and not returned to us by card processor) but can also impact our standing with our payment processor. A high volume of refunds can flag our account for potential fraud, which may lead to limitations or disruptions that would be incredibly difficult for a growing small business like ours.

Because our events are carefully planned with limited seating and ingredients prepared in advance, last-minute changes can also affect the overall experience for other guests.

With this in mind, we are updating our event reservation policy:

- All event tickets are non-refundable
- Tickets may be transferred to another guest
- With at least 48 hours’ notice, we are happy to offer Tea Room credit for a future experience
- Credits are not issued for cancellations made within 48 hours of the event
- If an event is canceled by us, a full refund will always be provided

We share this not to be restrictive, but to be transparent. Every reservation matters, and your understanding helps us continue to create the experiences you’ve come to enjoy.
