I went to Jamaica for an anniversary. I came home with a calling. 🇯🇲
My love story with Jamaica began in July 2017, when my husband and I celebrated our tenth wedding anniversary with the honeymoon we never took. It was also our first trip outside the United States.
I expected a beautiful vacation. I didn’t expect Jamaica to become part of my heart, my business and my purpose.
I fell in love with the island, its culture, its music and its people. Reggae had already filled our home for years, but being in Jamaica made that connection come alive. Before I left, I promised myself that I would return.
And I found a way.
I became a Sandals-certified travel advisor and began helping other people experience the beauty that had moved me so deeply. Since then, Jamaica has welcomed me back again and again—for weddings, honeymoons, anniversaries, birthdays, girls’ trips, family vacations and unforgettable Sandals events.
But my relationship with Jamaica became even more meaningful in December 2025. Following the hurricane, I packed four large suitcases with supplies donated in honor of my birthday. With the help of local driver Jefit Bradshaw, I was able to deliver them to a community in need.
I went hoping to give something to Jamaica. Instead, Jamaica gave me something greater.
The joy, gratitude and love I witnessed changed my heart and my perspective. It reminded me that love is not measured by how much we have—it is revealed in what we share.
That is why I love Jamaica. 🇯🇲
Jamaica is more than beautiful beaches and breathtaking resorts. It is Resilience. Culture. Music. Community. Excellence. Joy. And One Love.
Jamaica, you welcomed me as a visitor, gave purpose to my journey and became part of my heart.
I meant it when I said I would be back—and I will always come back. 💛💚🖤
