There’s a new way to support the amazing work happening behind the scenes for the sloths and all the animals at the Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens 🦥💚

We’ve added a “Sloth Support” section to our Amazon wishlist, filled with items hand-picked by our Zoo staff to help care for the animals every day.

Every purchase makes a difference and helps support our dedicated team.

Sloth update 🦥

All of the sloths recently completed checkups. Exams included radiographs, fluids, blood draws, and detailed body condition evaluations to give a good baseline as they adjust. Our veterinary and animal care teams worked together to make the process as stress-free as possible, including continuing to offer breakfast if they wanted it.

Mr. Ginger remains in very critical condition, with the rest of the sloths still in intensive care but in more stable condition. We'll continue evaluating and adjusting care and treatment to give them the best chance of survival. We'll continue to provide updates as we have them. Thanks for following along. 💚
