Floral moments from Lauren and Jake’s wedding 🤍

Not only did we source blooms from local Utah flower farms, we also included flowers grown by the groom’s father from the property where this wedding was hosted.

It was an honor to design with what was in season locally. The result was a gorgeous palette that paid tribute to the time of year in a variety of shapes and textures. A florist’s dream.

The dreamiest bouquet 🤍

Nearly 90% of the flowers in this piece were grown here in Utah. The hydrangeas came from the very property where the wedding took place, while the rest of the locally grown blooms were gathered from several Utah flower farms. A few stems of sweet pea and hellebore from Holland completed the design.

It took a village of growers, thoughtful coordination, and more than a few drives to bring these ingredients together. Seeing them become a bouquet so personal to the bride made every mile worth it.

As much as I love working with color, there’s something about the nuances of white that keeps me coming back. Each bloom carries its own undertones: gold, soft yellow, green, blush, even blue.

Finding the right combination of varieties, so those subtle tones complement one another, is a design challenge I’ve come to love. Every flower has a role in creating that seamless, layered palette.

And this wedding will always stay with me. The abundance, the trust our clients placed in us, and the care behind every detail. Seeing it all come together was every bit as beautiful as I’d imagined.

Depth is one of the design principles I value most.

It gives a floral composition dimension; inviting the eye beyond the surface and into the many layers of the design. When thoughtfully composed, those layers create rhythm and movement, allowing your eye to travel through the piece and discover something new at every level.

It’s one of the subtle details that makes floral design feel like art. And one I really enjoy including into my art.
