Second Event this past Saturday.
It was a pleasure decorating for a fellow friend for their two graduates from Sandusky. It’s always refreshing getting people that just trust the process to come out with something nice in the end. Yesterday’s Birthday celebration. With a hour setup we were able to come up with something nice, simple and elegant. It was a pleasure to bring everything together for Sonya Rogers and her family to celebrate their beautiful Mother for her 85th birthday. What a day to celebrate being 85 years young and it’s such a blessing in itself. To be surprised and surrounded by family and friends who truly love and care about you is an amazing feeling. I’m just so happy I was able to experience the moment with you all. I hope the day was wonderful and one to remember.

First event
I had the pleasure of creating this beautiful balloon garland for a special graduate Lilli Reitzel who was our promotion winner for balloon decor for their graduation party. This was the perfect pop of decor to bring everything together. It felt good to do something nice and everyone was such a pleasure to meet. I appreciate the opportunity to share my work and give back. Congratulations again on graduating and best of luck on your new journey.

Hello, I'm Jessica and welcome you to Social Gurl Events. Being able to apply my talents in art and design has been a dream of mine since I was a little girl. I began to grow more fond of design and decorating while working for my school, Notre Dame College. While there I did work study for the Administration building for the Alumni department where I helped plan and design for the different events. It wasn't until the beginning of 2018 that I decided to turn my dream into a reality by furthering my education in Event Planning and starting my own business.
I am very detailed oriented and passionate about delivering great and stress free planning experience from start to finish. Working with my clients to brainstorm different ideas that will work for their event is a process. We will work with you to make sure your vision comes alive and that your event makes a statement. Having planned baby showers, birthdays, proms to non-profit events, my organization and creativity have been taking notice throughout the community.
Along with my passion for design I want to be an inspiration for other woman like myself. On top of being an Event Planner I am a Single Mother, Business Owner, Hard Worker, and Student. I want to inspire and motivate other woman that you can do anything you put your mind too, which is why I started a women's group called the Social Gurl Sista's. Sometimes we lose site on why we work so hard and need positive words or reinforcement that we are doing a good job and our work is not going unnoticed.
Life can be tough sometimes and you may feel like there is a lot on your plate but I am here to say that there is hope.
You could start your journey with a set of goals to have accomplished by a certain time to having years later only have one thing done. I said that to say this, never give up on yourself or the process it takes you to accomplish your goals and dreams. As long as your surrounded by positivity, people that build you up and like-minded peers your bound to be successful.
