Good day, To the parents, grandparents, gaurdians: welp, Summer is soon over and it’s that time again..Back to School!! We will resume our normal registration schedule for Outta School @ Mills starting August 20th. So to be clear, on August 20th, and on EVERY 20th of EVERY month during the school year, you will be required to register your child(ren) for the following month of the afterschool program if you want them to attend. We encourage you to set a reminder monthly, so your little one won’t miss out. Outta School @ Mills program begins September 8th, Monday thru Thursday from 3:30-7pm. Snack and Dinner is included. Keep your eye on the Sandusky Rec FB page for updates and as always, sign up is Easy Peezy: www.cityofsandusky.com/recreation and look for OuttaSchool@Mills September, on August 20th. My Journey

Hello, I'm Jessica and welcome you to Social Gurl Events. Being able to apply my talents in art and design has been a dream of mine since I was a little girl. I began to grow more fond of design and decorating while working for my school, Notre Dame College. While there I did work study for the Administration building for the Alumni department where I helped plan and design for the different events. It wasn't until the beginning of 2018 that I decided to turn my dream into a reality by furthering my education in Event Planning and starting my own business.

I am very detailed oriented and passionate about delivering great and stress free planning experience from start to finish. Working with my clients to brainstorm different ideas that will work for their event is a process. We will work with you to make sure your vision comes alive and that your event makes a statement. Having planned baby showers, birthdays, proms to non-profit events, my organization and creativity have been taking notice throughout the community.

Along with my passion for design I want to be an inspiration for other woman like myself. On top of being an Event Planner I am a Single Mother, Business Owner, Hard Worker, and Student. I want to inspire and motivate other woman that you can do anything you put your mind too, which is why I started a women's group called the Social Gurl Sista's. Sometimes we lose site on why we work so hard and need positive words or reinforcement that we are doing a good job and our work is not going unnoticed.

Life can be tough sometimes and you may feel like there is a lot on your plate but I am here to say that there is hope.
